SamTrans Service Plan
The Service Plan Process
The SSP Process
| Step 1 | Establish SSP Guiding Principles |
| Step 2 | Analyze Market Conditions |
| Step 3 | Analyze Service Performance |
| Step 4 | Develop Draft Service Plan |
| Step 5 | Develop Final Service Plan |
A critical component of the SSP will be the public outreach effort. In order to achieve our public outreach objectives, the SSP will be launching two major efforts where the public can participate. In July 2011, the public will be invited to attend one of a series of open houses introducing the project. In September 2011, the public will be invited back to participate in a series of in-depth working sessions. The SSP is a balance of system analysis and extensive public outreach combined to develop a comprehensive plan that is representative of everyone that SamTrans touches. The effort is a complex one that will require assistance from all involved in order to achieve the best plan possible.
